When you think of an ice cream social, you think of the silky smooth taste that enters your mouth and fills you with joy. You think of summertime and friends gathered together to engage in said “treat” with you. You think of divine happiness!

This is an ice cream social open house, yes. But it is so much more than that! Life Cycles Counseling is a company who commits to excellence in client-centered care as well as in providing trainings, collaborating with research, and community outreach. This is a company whose mission is to remove barriers for recovery. Our goal has always been to help transfer shame to hope and healing for our clients. We value individual and cultural differences with a commitment to human rights and equality. As we celebrate our 5-year anniversary, I encourage you to come to our social event to connect, but also to learn more about who we are and what we strive to achieve daily. 1)You will connect with other people in the recovery community over an old time summer favorite. This is a community event. A celebration of you! And what better way to celebration overcoming obstacles than by meeting new friends in a fun environment!

2) Ice Cream Cravings are not to be taken lightly. Go ahead and give yourself permission to enjoy a favorite American pastime. Dessert for dinner?! And blame it all on muah if you have to!

3) This time you will eat the ice cream without the dreaded brain freeze. What is a brain freeze you ask? “A brain freeze is what happens when cold food touches a bundle of nerves in the back of the palate,” according to Science Daily. Defense is the best offense, I say!

4) You will learn fun ice cream trivia. Whether you are a trivia nut or just like to impress your friends, build your ice cream knowledge at our family friendly event!
