In my practice, I utilize art interventions fairly regularly. Each Friday, I will either post a recent art intervention or share a few of my favorite interventions from other practitioners.

The Glitter Jar is a favorite activity in my practice. Clients of all ages love this intervention. Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to play with glitter?! A swirling vortex glittery gem!  The glitter jar is used as a calming or grounding technique.  When you shake the jar, you are transfixed watching the glitter swirl and eventually settle…giving you enough time to settle your thoughts.
